Eiren, a third-year Molecular and Cell Biology major at the University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa joined the program because she was previously part of the PaCoN program at Leeward Community College. She's enjoyed the opportunity to meet and learn from plant pathologists doing fascinating work across the continental U.S. 

 

This has inspired her to become a responsible, informed individual who can not only practice plant and food biosecurity thoughtfully, but also help educate others about its importance.
