About Me

Sally Nhomi is the high school internship coordinator at Kamehameha Schools Kapālama, where students are nurtured to rise as servant leaders anchored in Native Hawaiian values, wisdom, and commitments to excellence. Sal grew up in Honolulu and her most valued mentors include Puanani Burgess and Tom Cummings. Prior to KS, she worked at several of the University of Hawaiʻi campuses and Hawaiʻi public schools. Her degrees include a DPhil in Education (Oxford), MSc in Development Studies (London SOAS), and BA in Liberal Arts (The Evergreen State College).
