Ghorban is a first-year PhD student in plant pathology, with his interest lying in developing electronic devices for the early detection of small invasive species. He spent his early childhood on a farm, which sparked his passion for agriculture.

 

Prior to joining Dr. Jenkins’s lab, he received his master’s degree in the Entomology department at the University of Hawaii.
