​​Stephenie joined the PaCoN Program because she had a deep desire to continue her education in the hope of further supporting her community. After hearing plant pathologists speak about the
major role agricultural research could play in improving the agricultural economy, I felt truly inspired.

Her goals are to gain knowledge about the
epidemiology of plant diseases and the current measures being taken to reduce their spread, and connect with a community of researchers dedicated to better understanding plant pathogens and developing effective management strategies.
