 Emily joined the PaCoN program because I she had the opportunity to work in Dr. Ma's lab, and wanted to focus on food microbiology in graduate school. She recieved her BS in Food Science, with a minor in Microbiology at Oklahoma State University.

Her goals are to learn about different biosecurity areas and knowledge that she could share with her  could relay to her tribe.
